Memorial For Quinton

Tribute to Quinton: The Shining Light

The Shining Light, that is Jesus, he is the light that shineth on Quinton throughout eternality; and it was early, on a third day morning more than 2000 years ago, Jesus made a way, for Quinton's departure; God decided on a Monday morning, February 5, 2024, at 42 years old, he would depart from his earthly journey and embark on his journey to his heavenly home. The family is shaken, by Quinton's, here today, and gone today, yet, the family's strong love and faith in Jesus, on February 4, is the same on February 5, and the days going forward. Jesus did what we could not do for our son, nor for ourselves. Jesus truely made a way out of no way, for all, to receive eternal salvation, through his death and resurrection. It was God's choice, and God only that would decide what to do with Quint, on that day, and God decided he would put our son, Quinton, on an early flight. It is true, we can't see him, but we can' see Jesus; and because we see Jesus, we can see and feel the joy we once had, and we see him in our spirit, and in our heart and soul, and through the love that has been shared by so many. Slowly over time, our very heart and soul will move away from that part of life, that brought the family, and friends, such sorrow and sadness, toward that part of life that is joy everlasting, we know the joy is in knowing Jesus, and understanding that it is God's own will and God's own way.

For everything is a season; for our boy, that was, and is, a shining light in our lives, it was his season, and his time to go. It is not easy, but as always, we have no choice in God's matters, and we must trust and have faith in him, OUR FATHER WHICH ART IN HEAVEN, he knows best, and in this case, the best was that Quinton, would leave his love, CeCe, his twin Bud, his family, his 9 children, and his best friends behind, and join the others, that have gone on before him, in glory. lol, I can image, right now, God is telling Quint, slow down on those drums, and give the rest of the heavenly host time to get caught up; Rocky Mountain members know what I am talking about; he would be gone on those drums.

Words cannot express the joy we felt, for the overwhelming attendance at his homegoing, flowers, food, ushering, and for all the individuals that got involved in all the activities needed to provide Quinton with a wonderful homegoing celebration, the joy we felt, because of the pouring out of love makes his homegoing a joy to behold.

From Quinton D. Dean Family, and from the rest of the John W Dean Sr., family, thanks.
