Concerning The Cross 12

The vision of the Prophet Isaiah. In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. (Isaiah 6:1) Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because  I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mines eyes have seen the King, The Lord of hosts (Isaiah 6:5). The vision of Isaiah did reveal the coming of the Saviour, which we do acknowledge him, as not only the saviour, but he was the Son of God, and born of the virgin Mary, as she was overshadow by God's Holy Spirit. For the children of Israel, to receive, such a hopeful outlook into their future, as well, as the future, for all of mankind, could be considerd an undeserving blessing, for a people, that were somewhat rebellious and a gainsaying people, yet in a place God knew they would be; however, I learned that God will lift us up even at our worst, when we become his chosen; Israel was God's chosen, even as they were at their worst, and God did provide the hope they needed; we were not there, but Israel's vision was the hope we needed and now enjoy; since, within the New Testament Salvation,  we too are God's chosen; he chose us, and we must freely accept him as our personal Lord and Saviour.

God's New Testament Plan In Action

The birth of John The Baptist. John was the forerunner for Jesus Christ. John was not like men that was before him. Beginning with his birth, it was unusal. His Father was a priest, during the days of King Herod, (Luke 1:5), and his fathers name was Zacharias, and his mother's name was Elisabeth (Luke 1:5). His parents was righteous before God (Luke 1:6), but Elisabeth were barren and they both was very old (Luke 1:7). And it came to pass, that while he executed the priest's office before God in the order of his course, (Luke 1:8)
According to the custom of the priest's office, his lot was to burn incense when he went into the temple of the Lord. (Luke 1:9)
And the whole multitude of the people were praying without at the time of incense. (Luke 1:10)
And there appeared unto him an angel of the Lord standing on the right side of the altar of incense. (Luke 1:11)
And when Zacharias saw him, he was troubled, and fear fell upon him. (Luke 1:12)
But the angel said unto him, fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shall call his name John. (Luke 1:13) Elisabeth was beyond child baring age, but she concieved according the angel words Luke1:24-37.; God's plan is surely coming to life, and in the life of many, with many more to come. God's plan was in motion in the life of Mary and her cousin Elisabeth, yet, Mary and Elisabeth had no prior knowledge how their live's would come together in the midst of God's plan. And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren. (Luke 1:36)

Jesus And The Virgin Birth

The generations of Christ. And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ. (Matthew 1:16)
Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise; When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost (Matthew 1:18).
Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily (Matthew 1:19).
But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost (Matthew 1:20).
And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins (Matthew 1:21).
Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying (Matthew 1:22),
Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us (Matthew 1:23).
Conclusion
God's preparations For the coming of the Saviour
The preparation for the coming of Jesus did not develop over one night, one day, or one year, but over many generations (Matthew 1:16-17); yet faith by the saved and the unsaved can be weak, and both need and requires evidence, of whom Jesus was (Luke 24:36-45); thankfully, the evidence, is ongoing, through individual's (Ruth chapter.1-chapter 4), and the birth of many individual's over many generations, providing the doubtful proof without question. So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations (Matthew 1:17).
Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife (Matthew 1:24):
And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS (Matthew 1:25).
The humble birth of Jesus
And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered (Luke 2:6).
And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn (Luke 2:7). The shepherds watching in the fields. And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night (Luke 2:8). And lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid (Luke 2:9). And the Angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people (Luke 2:10).
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord (Luke 2:11).
The evidence of the True Saviour. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger (Luke 2:12).
And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying (Luke 2:13),
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men (Luke 2:14).  And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh (Matthew 2:11).
