The New Heaven and the New Earth
Man' s awakening and the awakening behavior
And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat; (Genesis 2:16)
But of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. (Genesis 2: 17)

And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? (Genesis 3:9)
And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. (Genesis 3:10)
And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee, that thou shouldest not eat? (Genesis 3:11)

Man's sorry and man's suffering
For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye should take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God. (1 Peter 2:20)
For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: (1 Peter 2:21)
Forasmuch Then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; (1 Peter 4:1)
That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God. But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. (1 Peter 5:10)
For whatsoever things were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scripture might have hope (Romans 15:4)
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world (John 16:33).
For Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:13).

The God Head
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (John 1:1)
The same was in the beginning with God. (John 1:2)
All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. (John 1:3)
In him was life; and the life was the light of men. (John 1:4)
Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied. (1 Peter 1:2)
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto alively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. (1 Peter 1:3)
To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you. (1 Peter 1:4)
For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. (2 Peter 2:1:27)
But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that brought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. (2 Peter 2:1)
And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reasonof whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. (2 Peter 2:2)
And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. (2 Peter 2:3)
Our Hope
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our Saviour, and Lord Jesus Christ, which is our hope; (1 Timothy 1:1)
For whatsoever things were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scripture might have hope (Romans 15:4)
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace (John 16:33a). In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world (John 16:33b).
(Matthew 5,6,7) (Matthew 13; Mark 4; Luke 8) And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire (Matthew 3:10). But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be (Matthew 26:54)? And when it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at the doctrine (Matthew 7:28): For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes (Matthew 7:29).
And it came to pass, when Jesus had finished all these saying, he said unto his disciples (Matthew 26:1), Ye know that after two days is the feast of the passover, and the Son of man is betrayed to be crucified (Matthew 26:2). And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, this man blasphemeth (Matthew 9:3). And when he yet spake, lo, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and elders of the people (Matthew 26:47). Now he that betrayed him gave them a sign, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he: hold him fast (Matthew 26:48). And forthwith he came to Jesus, and said, Hail, master; and kissed him (Matthew 26:49). And Jesus said unto him, Friend, wherefore art thou come? Then came they, and laid hands on Jesus, and took him (Matthew 26:50). And, behold, one of them which were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and struck a servant of the high priest's, and smote off his ear (Matthew 26:51). Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword (Matthew 26:52). Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels (Matthew 26:53)? But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be (Matthew 26:54)?
Faith
Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. (1 Peter 1:5)
Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through maniford temptations: (1 Peter 1:6)
That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto priase and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: (1 Peter 1:7)
Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory. (1 Peter 1:8)
Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls. (1 Peter 1:9)
Of which salvation the prophets have inquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: (1 Peter 1:10)
But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. (Matthew 13:16)
For verily I say unto you, that many prophets and rightous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them. (Matthew 13:17)
For Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:13).
And the children of Israel set forward, and pitched in the plains of Moab on this side Jordan by Jericho (Numbers 22:1)
And Balak the son of Zipper saw all that Israel had done to the Amorites (Numbers 22:2).
And Moab was sore afraid of the people, because they were many: and Moab was distressed because of the children of Israel (Numbers 22:3)
And Moab said unto the elders of Midian, Now shall this company lick up all that are round about us, as the ox licketh up the grass of the field. And Balak the son of zippor was king of the Moabites at that time (Numbers 22:4).
He sent messengers therefore unto Balaam the son of Beor to Pethor, which is by the river of the land of the children of his people, to call him, saying, Behold, there is a people come out from Egypt: behold, they cover the face of the earth, and they abide over against me (Numbers 22:5):
Come now therefore, I pray thee, curse me this people; for they are too mighty for me: peradventure I shall prevail, that we may smite them, and that I may drive them out of the land: for I wot that he whom thou blessest is blessed, and he whom thou cursest is cursed (Numbers 22:6).
And the elders of the Moab and the elders of Midian departed with the rewards of divination in their hand; and they came unto Balaam, and spake unto him the words of Balak (Numbers 22:7).
And he said unto them, Lodge here this night, and I will bring you word again, as the Lord shall speak unto me: and the princes of Moab abode with Balaam (Numbers 22:8).
And God came unto Balaam, and said, What men are these with thee (Numbers 22:9)?
And Balaam said unto God, Balak the son of Zippor, King of Moab, hath sent unto me, saying (Numbers 22:10),
Behold, there is a people come out of Egypt, which covereth the face of the earth: come now, curse me them; preadvanture I shall be able to overcome them, and drive them out (Numbers 22:11).
And God said unto Balaam, Thou shalt not go with them; thou shalt not curse the people: for they are blessed (Numbers 22:12).
And Balaam rose up in the morning, and said unto the princes of Balak, Get you into your land: for the Lord refuseth to give me leave to go with you (Numbers 22:13).
And the princes of Moab rose up, and they went unto Balak, and said, Balaam refuseth to come with us (Numbers 22:14).
And Balak sent yet again princes, more and more honourable than they (Numbers 22:15).
And they came to Balaam, and said to him, Thus saith Balak the son of Zippor, Let nothing, I pray thee, hinder thee from coming unto me (Numbers 22:16):
For I will promote thee unto very great honour, and I will do whatever thou sayest unto me: come therefore, I pray thee, curse me this people (Numbers 22:17).
And Balaam answered and said unto the servants of Balak, If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the word of the Lord my God, to do less or more (Numbers 22:18).
Now therefore, I pray you, tarry ye also here this night, that I may know what the Lord will say unto me more (Numbers 22:19).
And God came unto Balaam at night, and said unto him, If the men come to call thee, rise up, and go with them: but yet the word which I shall say unto thee, that shalt thou do (Numbers 22:20).
Balaam And His
And Balaam rose up to the morning, and saddled his ass, and went with the princes of Moab (Numbers 22:21).
And God's anger was kindled because he went: and the angel of the Lord stood in the way for an adversary against him. Now he was ridding upon his ass, and his two servants were with him (Numbers 22:22).
And the ass saw the angel of the Lord standing in the way, and his sword drawn in his hand: and the ass turned aside out of the way, and went into the field: and Balaam smote the ass, to turn her into the way (Numbers (22:23).
But the angel of the Lord stood in a path of the vineyards, a wall being on this side, and a wall on that side (Numbers 22:24).
And when the ass saw the angel of the Lord, she thrust herself unto the wall, and crushed Balaam's foot against the wall: and he smite her again (Numbers 22:25).
And the angel of the Lord went further, and stood in a narrow place, where was no way to turn either to the right hand or to the left (Numbers 22:26).
And when the ass saw the angel of the Lord, she fell down under Balaam: and Balaam's anger was kindled, and he mote the ass with a staff (Numbers 22:27).
And the Lord opened the mouth of the ass, and she said unto Balaam, What have I done unto thee, that thou hast smitten me these three times (Numbers 22:28)?
And Balaam said unto the ass, Because thou hast mocked me: I would there were a sword in mine hand, for now would I kill thee (Numbers 22:29).
And the ass said unto Balaam, Am not I thine ass, upon which thou hast ridden ever since I was thine unto this day? was I ever wont to do so unto thee? And he said, Nay (Numbers 22:30).
Then the Lord opened the eyes of Balaam, and he saw the angel of the Lord standing in the way, and his sword was drawn in his hand: and he bowed down his head, and fell flat on his face. (Numbers 22:31).
Leadership Support
Then came Amalek, and fought with Israel in Rephidim. (Exodus 17:8)
And Moses said unto Joshua, choose us out men, and go out, fight with Amalek: tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in mine hand. (Exodus 17:9)
So Joshua did as Moses had said to him, and fought with Amalek: and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill. (Exodus 17:10)
And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. (Exodus 17:11) But Moses' hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun. (Exodus 17:12) And Joshua discomfited Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword. (Exodus 17:13) And the Lord said unto Moses, write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua: for I will utterly put out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven. (Exodus 17:14)
The Sower and the Seed was a parable; today’s message centered around similarities or similar characteristics. He uses the similarities, of the Son of man and the shepherd of the sheep and the goat (Matthew 25:32, 33) to illustrate the separation of the blessed (Matthew 25:34) and the deliverance of blessings or rejection. In the context of the entire text (Matthew 25: 35-46) is the revelation of the action taken by the Son Of man when he shall return in his glory (Matthew 25:31) and as he sit upon the throne of his glory (Matthew 25:31). It is also revealed that during this time all nations shall be gathered together (Matthew 25:32) and the Son Of Man shall separate the nations, one from another (Matthew 25:32) according to actions taken or not taken, prior to his return and during his absence (Matthew 25:35-46).
The Return of the Son of man
When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory (Matthew 25:31):
The Separation Of the Sheep and the Goats
The Son Of Man uses an illustraton of two very opposite farm animal to aid our understanding of the characteristic of certain aspects of his return. (Matthew 25:32,33). The sheep and the goat; They are opposite in temperament and other noticeable dispositions. The sheep and goats are not alike and cannot dwell together; sheep possess an easy temperament, while Goats are rambunctious, they are unruly; in addition to other destructive characteristics, they eat everthing in sight. The shepherd will know these differences and can justly separate. When the Son of Man returns (Matthew 25:31), he shall gather together all nations (Matthew 25:32 separating the sheep from the goat (Matthew 25:32,33) and the sheep he will place them on his right and the goats he will place them on his left (Matthew 25:33, 34).
The blessed and the cursed and the works
The Son of man teaches the treatment of our brethren is aligned with our treatment of the Son of man (Matthew 25:40) and he teaches, what you do to the brethren, you do to the Son of man; when the brethren is hungred and given meat, the Son of man is given meat (Matthew 25:35).
When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory (Matthew 25:31):
And before him shall be gathered all nations; and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats (Matthew 25:32):
And he shall set the sheep on the right hand, but the goats on the lift (Matthew 25:33).
Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world (Matthew 25:34):
For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, ye took me in (Matthew 25:35):
Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me (Matthew 25:36).
Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee? Or thirsty, and gave thee drink (Matthew 25:37)?
When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee (Matthew 25;38)?
Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee (Matthew 25:39)?
And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me (Matthew 25:40).
Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels (Matthew 25:41).
For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink (Matthew 25:42):
I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not (Matthew 25:43).
Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee (Matthew 25:44)?
Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me (Matthew 25:45).
And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: But the righteous into life eternal (Matthew 25:46).
The Over Comer's And What They will Inherit
I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. (Revelation 21:6b) He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. (Revelation 21:7) But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. (Revelation 21:8) And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven plagues, and talked with me, saying Come hither, I will show thee the bride, the Lamb's wife. (Revelation 21:9) And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God. (Revelation 21:10) Having the glory of God: and the light was unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal: (Revelation 21:11)
The Lord God Almighty and The Lamb And The Lamb's Book Of Life
And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. (Revelation 21:22) And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. (Revelation 21:23) And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. (Revelation 21:24) And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there. (Revelation 21:25) And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it. (Revelation 21:26) And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life. (Revelation 21:27)
Jesus sorry and His suffering
Them cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder. (Matthew 26:36) And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebdee,- (Sons of thunder and his inner circle)-, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy. (Matthew 26:37) Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me. (Matthew 26:38) And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt. (Matthew 26:39)
The Lord Jesus Christ said to one of the malfactor, that today, thou shall be with me in Paradise.
And about the nineth hour Jesus cried with a Loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, Lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? (Matthew 27:46) Some of them that stood there, when they heard that, said, this man calleth for Elias. (Matthew 27:47)
And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted. (Matthew 28:17) And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. (Matthew 28:18) Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: (Matthew 28:19) Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. (Matthew 28: 20)
Prophets early revelations concerning Jesus
Jesus and early revelations of his death
And when it came to pass, when Jesus had finished all these saying, he said unto his disciples, (Matthew 26:1) the scripture show, Jesus told some things to his disciples and some things, he only revealed to his select or inner circle. On this occusion, Jesus revealed some details, of what was to be, concerning his crucifixation, to his disciples (Matthew 26:1); He said, Ye know that after two days is the feast of the passover, and the Son of man is betrayed to be crucified. (Matthew 26:2) This reveals a lot, within its context. Jesus knew the exact time he was to be crucified. His disciple was not caught by surprise. Then assembled together the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders of the people, unto the palace of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas, (Matthew 26:3) The scripture show, there is truly no new thing under the Sun, people came together for no good even then. And consulted that they might take Jesus by subtiety, and kill him. (Matthew 26:4) And take notice, there were politics and politicians, even back then and it show that they did what they needed too to appease the people, and they observed days and traditions, over love for another and each other. Notice in verse 5, But they said, not on the feast day, lest there be an uproar among the people. (Matthew 26:5)
And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire (Matthew 3:10).
But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be (Matthew 26:54)?
And when it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at the doctrine (Matthew 7:28):
For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes (Matthew 7:29).
And it came to pass, when Jesus had finished all these saying, he said unto his disciples (Matthew 26:1),
Ye know that after two days is the feast of the passover, and the Son of man is betrayed to be crucified (Matthew 26:2).
And the Lord said unto the woman, what is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, the serpent beguiled me, and I did eat (Genesis 3:13).
When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved? (Matthew 19:25)
Nicodemus saith unto him, how can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? (St. John 3:4)
Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? (Matthew 20:22b)
Therefore I say unto you, take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? (Matthew 6:25)
Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? Who can forgive sins but God only? (Mark 2:7)
And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, my father: and he said, here am I, my son. And he said, behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering? (Genesis 22:7)
The new way of living and the new life style. The student's of the word of God have been taught, that it is necessary to give God the thanks for the victory, through our Lord, Jesus Christ. The disciples also forseen a new life and a new way of living, but it appeared, they too expected now, rather than the life after death. Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, through he were dead, yet shall he live (John 11:25): And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this (John 11:26)? And while they abode in Galilee, Jesus said unto them, the Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of men: (Matthew 17:22) And they shall kill him, and the third day he shall be raised again. And they were exceeding sorry. (Matthew 17:23) But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 15:57) For whatsoever things were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scripture might have hope. (Romans 15:4) These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world (John 16:33). For Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:13). For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16) Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on me hath everlasting life. (John 6:47)
New Heaven And New Earth. And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. (Revelation 21:1) And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. (Revelation 21:2) And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. (Revelations 21:3) And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. (Revelation 21:4)
This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. (John 15:12)
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. (John 15:13)
Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. (John 15:14)
Henceforth I call you not servants: for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. (John 15:15)
Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. (John 15:16)
These things I command you, that ye love one another. (John 15:17
If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. (John 15:18)
If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. (John 15:19)
The Resurrection of Lazarus; Sickness in the family of Jesus' best friends.
Human nature, the thoughts and all other characteristics of being human will apply in our efforts to keep the faith in God. So then, the first thought, that would come to mind, is that since Lazarus was loved by Jesus, he went quickly make his way into Jerusalem. Now a certain man was sick, named Lazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha (John 11:1). (It was that Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick (John 11:2). Therefore his sisters sent unto him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick (John 11:3). When Jesus heard that, he said, this sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, the the Son of man might be glorified thereby (John 11: 4).
Jesus did not have to go there to heal his beloved Lazarus, he could have spoke the word, and his friend would be healed. And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of disease among people (Matthew 4:23).
And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had palsy; and he healed them (Matthew 4:24).
Examples of Jesus' healing. And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him, (Matthew 8:5)
And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented. (Matthew 8:6)
And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him. (Matthew 8:7)
The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am notworthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my sevant shall be healed. (Matthew 8:8)
The Lord's two day delay.
Jesus was less than two miles journey, from the friend he loved, and the friend he loved was near the point of death, yet he delayed two more days before his journey to Jerusalem. Jesus was was in Jerusalem and less than two Miles (fifteen furlongs/ 1 furlong is equal to 660 feet and fifteens is 9900 feet) from Bethany (John 11:1), but Jesus waited two more days (John 11:6) and Then after that saith he to his disciples, Let us go into Judaea again” (John 11:7)
The prior lessons revealed to us, the insight, into the resurrection of Christ, and the insight came from the words of the prophets, before the appearance of Jesus, and from the words of Jesus upon his own appearance, but Jesus also gave us examples, throughout the time he was in the flesh.
The death of Lazarus.
Then when Jesus came, he found that he had lain in the grave for four days already (John 11:17). For those that say, Jesus is uncaring, I say, Jesus cares, but can see far beyond what we can; he understand things we don’t, and his vision is exceedingly deeper than man or woman. The disciples were focused on the problems they would face.vision was limted (John 11:13), “he shall do well to sleep” (John 11:12), they say; they seek to stone you, but you going back, they say (John 11:8:),People get in the way, and it is easy to lose focus on the teacher and the Master and Thomas even spake as he always did, without thought (John 11:16); but Jesus can broadly see the deepth of the big picture, “Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead” (John 11:14). and his visions far beyond what we expect (John 11:23), Jesus said to Mary, “thy brother shall rise again” (John 11:23) and his way or not our ways (John 11:6), he stayed two days more (John 11:6), yet, Jesus loved, Lazarus, Mary and Martha (John 11:3; John 11:15). It is necessary to explore man’s ways and God’s ways and place them in perspective, the disciple worried that the Jews sought to stone Jesus (John 11:8); the disciples had no clear vision of the entire situation (John 11:9, 10, 11, 12, 13).
Jesus was clear on the purpose and fit of this opportunity to raise Lazarus from the grave. Jesus said, And I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, to the intent ye may believe; nevertheless let us go unto him (John 11:15). In my own mind could it be that if Jesus was there and because he loved Lazarus, Mary and Martha (John 11:5), he would have been tempted to heal Lazarus, but risk, the overlooking crowd seeing the power of the resurrection; notice, Mary said to Jesus, “Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died (John 11:21).
Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day (John 11:24).
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, through he were dead, yet shall he live (John 11:25):
And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this (John 11:26)?
Each of us can seek understanding in many places in the word; Jesus and the sermon on the mountain (Matthew 5,6,7) provides some understanding of the Lord's purpose, as well as, provides insight into the Lord's character and the issues of politics, religious, cultural issue he faced from his birth to the cross. The study of the parable of the sower and the seed (Matthew 13; Mark 4; Luke 8), provides even more understanding about Jesus and his day to day life. The scripture is designed to help the reader and believer become fruitful as required by God as the reader learns more of him. And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire (Matthew 3:10). The scripture is designed to help us understand how all things must be fulfilled and it is necessary to learn for yourself; by learning for yourself, you won't easily be deceived.. But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be (Matthew 26:54)?
The scripture is the teaching of God and the things we learn go deeper than our everyday understanding. The things Jesus taught, become a reality.
And, behold, one of them which were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and struck a servant of the high priest"s, and smote off his ear (Matthew 26:51).
(Isaiah 53:4,5; Luke 22:4), (Mark 15:28, 29, 30, 31)
O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory (I Corinthians 15:55)?
The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law (I Corinthians 15:56). But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 15:57)
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your Labour is not in vain in the Lord. (I Corinthians 15:58)
God is enough
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
Let not your heart be trouble, ye believe in God, believe also in me (John 14:1).
In my father's house are many mansions: If it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you (John 14:2).
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself: that where I am, there ye maybe also (John 14:3).
And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know (John 14:4).
Riches
Go To now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you. (James 5:1)
Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are mothen. (James 5:2)
Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton; ye have nourished your hearts, as in the day of the slaugher. (James 5:5)
Ye have condemned and killed the just; and he doth not resist you. (James 5:6)
Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. (James 5:8)
Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door. (James 5:9)
Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and patience. (James 5:10)
Behold, we count them happy which endure. ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord, and of tender mercy. (James 5:11)
Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, that a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 19:23)
And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. (Matthew 19:24)
When his disciples heard it, they were amazed, saying Who then can be saved? (Matthew 19:25)
And when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take thy wife, and thy two daughters, which are here; lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city (Genesis 19:15).
And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the Lord being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city (Genesis 19:16).
And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed (Genesis 19:17).
And the Lord said, because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous (Genesis 18:20);
I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know (Genesis 18:21).
And the men turned their faces from thence, and went toward sodom: but Abraham stood yet before the Lord (Genesis 18:22).
And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground (Genesis 19:1);
And he said, Behold now, my Lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant’s house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways, And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night (Genesis 19:2).
And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat (Genesis 19:3).
But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compressed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter (Genesis 19:4):
And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? Bring them out unto us, that we may know them (Genesis 19:5).
And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him (Genesis 19:6).
And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly (Genesis 19:7).
Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof (Genesis 19:8).
And they said, stand back. And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now we will deal worse with thee, than with them, and they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door (Genesis 19:9).
But the man put forth their hand, and pulled Lot into the house to them, and shut the door (Genesis 19:10).
And they smote the men that were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great: so that they weared themselves to find the door (Genesis 19:11).
And the men said unto Lot, hast thou here any besides? Son-in-law, and thy sons, and thy daughters, and whatsoever thou hast in the city, bring them out of this place (Genesis 19:12):
For we will destroy this place, because the cry of them is waxen great before the face of the Lord; and the Lord hath sent us to destroy it (Genesis 19:13).
And Lot went out, and spake unto his sons in law, which married his daughters, and said, Up, get you out of this place; for the Lord will destroy this city. But he seemed as one that mocked unto his sons in law (Genesis 19:14).
And the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take thy wife, and thy two daughters, which are here; lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city (Genesis 19:15). And Lot said unto them, Oh, not so, my Lord (Genesis 19:18): Behold now, thy servant hath found grace in thy sight, and thou hast magnified thy mercy, which thou hath shown unto me in saving my life; and I cannot escape to the mountain, lest some evil take me, and I die (Genesis 19:19).
Behold now, this city is near to flee unto, and it is a little one: Oh, let me escape thither, (is it not a little one?) and my soul shall live (Genesis 19:20). And he said unto him, See, I have accepted thee concerning this thing also, that I will not overthrow this city, for the which thou hast spoken (Genesis 19:21). Haste thee escape thither; for I cannot do anything till thou be come thither, Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar (Genesis 19:22). The sun was risen upon the earth when Lot entered into Zoar (Genesis 19:23).
Then the Lord rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Lord out of heaven (Genesis 19:24).
And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground (Genesis 19:25). But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt (Genesis 19:26).
Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them. (Luke 24:1)
And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre. (Luke 24:2)

Saying, the Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again. (Luke 24:7)
And they remembered his words, (Luke 24:8)
And returned from the sepulchre, and told all these things unto the eleven, and to all the rest. (Luke 24:9)
It was Mary Magdalene, and Joanna, and Mary the mother of James, and other women that were with them, which told these things unto the apostles. (Luke 24:10)
And their words seemed to them as idle tales, and they believed them not. (Luke 24:11)
Then arose Peter, and ran unto the sepulchre; and stooping down, he beheld the linen clothes laid by themselves, and departed, wondering in himself at that which was come to pass. (Luke 24:12)
And, behold, two of them went that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was from Jerusalem about three-score furlongs. (Luke 24:13)

And it came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them, (Luke 24:15)
But their eyes were holden that they should not know him. (Luke 24:16)
and he said unto them, what manner of communications are these that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad? (Luke 24:17)

And certain of them which were with us went to the sepulchre, and found it even so as the woman had said; but him they saw not. (Luke 24:24)

Saying, the Lord is risen indeed, and hath appeared to Simon. (Luke 24:34)
And they told what things were done in the way, and how he was known of them in breaking of bread. (Luke 24:35)
And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, peace be unto you (Luke 24:36),
but they were terrified and affrighted, and suppose they had seen a spirit. (Luke 24:37)
and he said why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts? (Luke 24:38)
Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have. (Luke 24:39)

And they worshipped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy: (Luke 24:52)
And were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen. (Luke 24:53)
God proof and assurance to the unbeliving disciples
Jesus knew they did not believe with their hearts. This was was not Jesus, according to their thoughts (Luke 24:6; 24:15,16 ; John 20:9)! The disciples were terrified, frightened, and troubled in their heart (Luke 24:37, 38); in the minds and hearts of the disciples, Jesus was dead and what they saw was a spirit (Luke 24:34). Jesus provided assurance for his disciples, that we may not have, he said, Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have (Luke 24:39).
Jesus is not by our side physically, but even though he is not physically with us; after all, it was of necessity that he go away and leave us as he did the disciples (Luke 23:46); and although, we cannot have the assurance, as the disciples that saw him, and the places where the nails were in his hands and his feet (Luke 24:40), our faith is necessary.
It first appears we are on our own; Matthew 16 states, from that time forth, began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day (verse 21); it is also a fact, he is here when we need him. The scripture provides important examples to increase our faith in spite of many things appear to put space between us and Jesus: in Matthew 14, it reads, And straightway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away (verse 22) and also in Matthew 14 it reads, And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone (verse 23). In Matthew 14:14, 15, 19, Jesus feeds the five thousand men, besides women and children (Matthew 14: 21) and then sends them away (Matthew 14:22,23) and goes into the mountain to pray (verse 23). Jesus is not always with us, yet he is always there for us when we need him; he sent the five thousand men, besides women and children away (Matthew 14: 21), but not hungry, but filled with food he made to multiply out of two fishes and five loaves (Matthew 14:20).
After the five thousand had been fed with the two fishes and the five Loaves (Matthew 14:19), Jesus compelled his followers and trainee’s to get into a ship, and to cross over to the other side, while he sent the crowd to their own places (Matthew 14:22). Before Jesus followed his disciple, he went up into the mountain to pray (Matthew 14:23) and with the disciples all sent ahead, Jesus was alone (Matthew 14:23); the bible does not state how long they were apart, but by the time, he had finished praying, the ship was in the midst of the sea (Matthew 14:24). Jesus was now separated from his disciples by the sea and the ship now tossed by the wind which was not calm and not ideal for the ship; the wind was tossing the ship to and fro (Matthew 14:24).
Jesus will show up when we need him
Even Though it was late at night or early morning (Matthew 14:25); Jesus came walking on the sea (Matthew 14:25); when the disciples saw him walking on the sea (Matthew 14:25), they were troubled and thought he was a spirit (Matthew 14:26), and they cried out for fear (Matthew 14:26). Jesus quickly saw their fear and tried to calm his disciples (Matthew 14:27), saying, “Be of good cheer; It is I; be not afraid” (Matthew 14:27).
Peter and his request
Peter made an unnecessary request of Jesus, but we should ask the Lord for what we need and not for things that are unnecessary. Bid me come unto thee on the water (Matthew 14:28). Notice, Jesus did not compel or make any suggestion Peter should place himself in danger (Matthew 14:30), but Peter chose to put himself in danger (Matthew 14: 28) of drowning in the troubled waters (Matthew 14:24; Matthew 14:30). Jesus honored Peter's request by telling him to “come” (Matthew 14:29); so Peter got out of the safety of the ship (Matthew 14:22). It is not clear whether Peter was attempting to show he was able to walk on water as Jesus did or show his trust in Jesus, Peter was known for bad decisions and saying the wrong thing (Matthew 26:69-75; Mark 14:66-72), but not withstanding Peter's motive, there was a lesson, for those of us that trust in the Lord, to see the saving power of Jesus, even we make bad decisions; when Peter stepped out of the ship (Matthew 14:22) and starting toward Jesus (Matthew 14:29), he saw the wind blowing and the ship tossed with waves (Matthew 14: 24, 30); he was afraid (Matthew 14:30) and he starting to sink (Matthew 14:30); he cried out to Jesus to save him from his trouble, he was sinking (Matthew 14:30).
Jesus saves Peter from drowning
Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? (Matthew 14:31). And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased (Matthew 14:32).
Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God (Matthew 14:33), (Matthew 9:22)
John The Forerunner For Jesus Christ
There was a man sent from God (John 1:6) his name was John (John 1:6; Luke 1:13)
