Concerning The Cross 8

Continue To Concerning The Cross 9

The first seven lesson's have been sucessful to help the believer gain an understanding of the importance of God, and the steps he took, changing, though his own Son, Jesus, The Christ; leaving his home in glory, coming down from heaven, and, to be born of a woman, yet without sin, and without an earthly father, but born of the heavenly father, though the devine and Holy Spirit; then, without fault, and without sin, gave his life, to be buried in Joseph's borrowed tomb, and to remain there until the third day morning, and to raise up from the grave, with victory over the grave, and victory, over the wages of sin, for all that will believe, and accept he is Christ, the Savior. He finished what he started. There is no question of The Lord faithfulness; the question is how do we live up to God's expectations; are we living God's best life? Are we living the life that he provided for us, not in things and possessions, but in faithfulness, and in praise, and glory to his name? The Psalms, and many other scripture references, teaches, to give praise, and glory, by how we live, and present ourselves, first to our God, and secondly, to others. The lesson, this month, focuses on two questions:

Question: What is God's Displeasure, with his people, in the midst of today's sinful and angry environment?

Question: What are the consequences amidst God's displeasure in today's sinful and angry environment?

God's Displeasure and anger

The foretold expectation, and knowledge of God. Have ye not known? Have ye not heard? Hath it not been told you from the beginning? Have ye not understood from the foundations of the earth? (Isaiah 40:21)  God's new look at his chosen people. God had become so displeased with his chosen people, they became the objects of his wrath; God made multiple declarations concerning his displeaure and necessary correction of them. God's declaration declared, in Isaiah chapter 1, involves God's response to them as they come before him in prayer. For the believer, prayer should be the first line of defense for any believer. For God's people, prayer became a closed option. God first declaration toward his people. And when ye spread forth yours hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood. (Isaiah 1:15) God's demand for a change of behavior. Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil; (Isaiah 1:16) Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. (Isaiah 1:17) God's mercy and willingness to reason with his chosen people. Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: through your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. (Isaiah 1:18) If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: (Isaiah 1:19)

God's promise to the father of the Chosen People

The Lord appeared to Abraham. And When Abram was ninety years old and nine, The Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect. (Genesis 17:1) And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly. (Genesis 17:2) And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying, (Genesis 17:3) God and Abram, could talk to each other, and the ability to talk provided an oportunity for an agreement (covenant) between God and Abraham, and for future generations; For God, if you be my people, I will be your God. For Abraham, if you be my God, I will be your people. Being God's people meant being fruitful and obedient, and eating the good of the land (Genesis chapter 17)

The opportunity to be fruitful and grow. And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee. (Genesis 17:6) And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. Genesis 17:7)

Research and Social Sciences in the study and applications of the word of God. Research and Social Sciences have always been a part of the methods, the almighty, and true and living God, has incorporated, as his holistic love and care methods, to increase the chances and opportunities, for his people to grow. The history and prophesy, from the very beginning to now, are very relevant to the religious and Christian grow expected by God. The individual, and organization, must rely on history, as one of the tools to move forward, in and by, the word of God. What has been learned in the past cannot be denied in the future.

Conclusion

It was clear, in lesson eight, God turned away from his chosen, in times of continued disobediences and bad treatment of others; it is also clear, even in his angry, he continued to love his people, and was open to giving them another chance, though their willingness to repent and turn from their wicked ways. There were two questions to consider from the study. It is plain, that each believer must, seek answers for themselves, as well as, determine how pleased God will be with their actions, and consider whether their actions would be pleasing to God, or the object of God's displeasure and angry. It is also important that each individual determine what is the just consequences of what they do as individuals. It is beneficial to be reminded, that death or life; Heaven or Hell are the choices
